Shma Israel encourages all believers
to embrace their roots and rich traditions in the Jewish law, customs,
halacha, history, and in the Hebrew Scriptures, in which are found the
fundamental tenets for all of Christianity. It urges outwardly becoming
Biblically Jewish in our customs and practices, asserting the foundations
and underlying identity that Christianity has.
And finally, that believers in Yeshua
are engrafted into the covenant promise made with Abraham and his descendents
forever. (Gen 17:4, 18:18) And this engrafting, according to Ephesians
2:12-19 has made believers engrafted
into the Commonwealth of Israel
